Living with Autism grew out of my personal and professional experience as a mother of a child on the spectrum, and as a teacher. Throughout my career as an elementary school teacher, I have taught and supported many children living with autism, ADHD, and executive function disorders, but it wasn't until my own son was born that I understood what living with autism really meant. It is a condition that affects every moment of every day, and every person living in the home. I have walked this journey, and I continue to do so. I know the struggles parents and children face, but I also know the joys of watching your child succeed. Through Living with Autism, my goal is to support and guide parents and children living on the autism spectrum to find their own success in life.
